Requirements

Eligible applicants are students of the University of Giessen, who have a university degree, which allows admission to doctoral studies. The main selection criteria also include above-average attendance and examination, which was stored by university studies on admission to doctoral studies. The doctoral thesis must make a substantial contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the relevant scientific field. The student must be younger than 29 years. Also they must be credited for age pension, periods of care nationals or military and civil and voluntary services. For severely disabled students, the age limit may possibly be ignored.
